Stories from my soul

Eine kleine Auszeit von der Geschichte. Die Fortsetzung lässt noch ein wenig auf sich warten, dafür habe ich hier ein kleines Gedicht für euch. Auf Englisch und als Songtext gedacht muss ich gestehen. Aber ich bin nicht so die große Komponistin/Sängerin wie auch immer. Deshalb hier nur in geschriebener Form.

I am me

One head in the crowd
One step that I take
and no one cares

I just live my life
the way that I want
an no one sees

They want to change me, bend me, break me
try to form me the way that they want
but I am me and I won't change.
Not for anyone but me
anyone but me.

One voice in the sound
one breath that I take
and no one hears.

A scream in the night
the lock on my heart
and no one's here.


But you unlocked my heart
and tried to see the real me.
And I feel free,
cause I am me.
